REJOICE, GIVE THANKS

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 ESV

What a joy it is to walk with the Lord. In a world that is troubling and evil, it is the Lord who is ever present, in control, and on the throne.  It is Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior who gives us eternal hope, and for this reason we rejoice and give thanks!

The Lord Jesus Christ was the one on the middle cross who paid the ultimate penalty for my sin, your sin and the sins of the world. He gave us life, opened our eyes, entered our hearts and set us apart. He set us free and rescued us. His work of salvation changed my life and yours forever.

No matter the circumstances that come our way, whether we’re on the hill or in the valley, it’s His great love and faithfulness that carries us to victory. His amazing love draws us near to His word and brings us to our knees in prayer. It’s His love that brings us to repentance, and opens our hearts to rejoice in Him.

Jesus is the only reason we must live a life of daily gratitude. It’s His sacrifice that gives us hope and gives us every reason to be truly thankful and in awe of His majesty.

Walk in the Will of God: Be thankful in every circumstance, pray without ceasing and rejoice in Christ Jesus!
