SOLA SCRIPTURA
Sola Scripture, God’s flawless word. It is His divine inspired word that brings true transformation from darkness to light, hope and peace in a world that is so evil. His every word completes and equips his beloved children to do the work that he called us for (2 Timothy 3:16-17). His words by way of the scriptures lays a blueprint which guides, leads and directs our path in the life of faith.
Gods word is the beginning and the end of all things establishing and solidifying His supremacy over His creation. Nothing was made without him. In him and through him were all things made. This means that the word is the divine authority of God. It is the ultimate truth that brings true life (John 17:17). It is His word that is holy, righteous and supreme, without blemish, pure and perfect.
We are flawed human beings that don’t deserve or merit anything because of our great and many sins. We are hopeless human beings doomed to eternal damnation. However, PRAISE GOD for his word because it is the power that is life changing giving new meaning to our sinful and evil flesh. It is through His word that cuts us to the heart and discerns our thoughts, opening our eyes to the truth of the gospel (Hebrews 4:12). Our lives were created to be a testimony to his name and to bring him glory. His word has brought new life through the death and resurrection of His son. Death has no power over him, because he is the source of life. He defeated darkness (evil) once and for all. He shines in light, truth and power bringing life to darkened(evil) hearts and souls. He transforms them and brings to obedience those who believe making many sons and daughters of the Almighty God Most High. The ultimate Sacrifice that reconciled us to God the father.
The word of God is sanctifying, it does not keep us believers the same, but changes us and continues to make us in his image and give us the power to overcome evil. The Word of God is Jesus Christ, he is the source of all things that holds us in his hands. The Scripture is the word of God that is manifested in power through his authority because He is the Supreme God, the Only God!
