1) Ask somebody to nominate you for a position on the RBYA Committee. They must answer questions about your service.
2) You will receive an email instructing you to “Accept” or “Decline” your nomination
- If you accept your nomination, you will be asked to answer questions and enter in your Pastor’s email, so that they can approve of your nomination.
- If you decline, you will be taken out of the running for the committee.3) Once your pastor approves your nomination, your name will be listed on the RBYA website with a link beside it for someone to “Second your nomination”.
4) Once someone seconds your nomination, you will be listed as “Approved to Run!” and your name will listed on the ballot for that position at the RBA Convention.
*At elections the delegates will elect a total of 17 Committee Members (12 General + 5 designated). If there are more than 17 nominees, the candidates with most votes will win. - 3rd Amendment, Section 1(B) of the RBYA Constitution

This year's elections will be held in Atlanta, Georgia at Philadelphia Romanian Church (581 Old Peachtree Rd NE, Lawrenceville, GA 30043) Saturday, August 30, at 9:00 AM.
At elections the delegates will elect a total of 17 Committee Members (12 General + 5 designated). If there are more than 17 nominees, the candidates with most votes will win.
- 3rd Amendment, Section 1(b) of the RBYA Constitution.
In order to serve in the General Committee, the nominee must be 18 years or older on the day they become elected into the committee…In order to serve in the Executive Committee, which includes the position of Controller, Treasurer, Vice President East, Vice President West, and President, the nominee must be 21 years or older on the day they become elected into the committee.
